When was the last time, you simply said... "Here I am."
And stood to that, proudly and graciously, full of dignity, yet still humble?
I'm still learning that with every day. I have to admit, it sometimes takes courage to simply say, "Here I am"... and say that with a heart that doesn't just whisper those words with doubt, rather strongly and poised, knows the answer.
But I also believe, it is our responsibility to learn those words. They are, beautiful words.
Words of respect. To oneself and to those that share your presence. It is selfless, because in saying "Here I am", you are giving of yourself. It is the moment "we claim our humanity, with no fear and no limits".
