Allow Yourself to be Seen...

"This is what I have learned. We must allow ourselves to be seen. Deeply seen. And vulnerably seen. We must allow ourselves to love with our whole hearts, even though there is no guarantee. And to practise gratitude and joy, even in those moments of fear and when we are wondering, "Can I love you this much?". Because to feel vulnerable means you are alive. Believe that you are enough."

Why Wait?

"Why wait? Life is not a dress rehearsal.
Quit practicing what you’re going to do, and just do it.
In one bold stroke you can transform today."

What if...

"What if our religion was each other, If our practice was our life and if prayer our words? What if the temple was the Earth, if forests were our church and if holy waters were the rivers, lakes, and oceans? What if meditation was our relationships, the teacher was life and wisdom was knowledge? What if love was the center of our being?"

I Am Not Kidding...

"Go into the arts. I am not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something."
