Today...

"Do something today, that will one day be a story you will love to tell.
Make today a day, you will never forget."

You Are Free...

"Close the door on old, painful memories. Close the door on old hurts, old self-righteous unforgiveness. You might take an incident in the past where there was pain and hurt, something that is hard for you to forgive or look at. Ask yourself, "How long do I want to hold onto this? How long do I want to suffer because of something that happened in the past?" Now imagine a stream in front of you and take this old experience, this hurt, this pain, and put the whole incident in the stream and see it begin to dissolve and drift away until it disappears. You have the ability to let go. You are free."

without living in my past."

This Moment...

"Our lives are made up of a series of moments. If you are lucky, you will get to have hundreds, even thousands of them. There will be small moments. And Moments when you are doing something so mundane you won't even realize you are in a moment. There will also be big moments. Life changing ones. These ones will be in your memory for an awfully long time. Keep them all safe. And this, this also is a moment."

A Room Named Remember...

"The time is ripe for looking back over the day, the week, the year, and trying to figure out where we have come from and where we are going to, for sifting through the things we have done and the things we have left undone for a clue to who we are and who, for better or worse, we are becoming. But again and again we avoid the long thoughts. We cling to the present out of wariness of the past. And why not, after all? We get confused. We need such escape as we can find. But there is a deeper need yet, I think, and that is the need - not all the time, surely, but from time to time - to enter that still room within us all where the past lives on as a part of the present, where the dead are alive again, where we are most alive ourselves to turnings and to where our journeys have brought us. The name of the room is "Remember". The room where with patience, with charity, with quietness of heart, we remember consciously to remember the lives we have lived."

Frederick Buechner

Welcome to the Room. It is your Room.

Be grateful.

Remember...

"Remember back to a time in life when anything seemed possible. I have the most wonderful memory of lying in the grass as a child on a really warm sunny day, looking up at the sky and creating shapes from the clouds that floated by. It was a moment in time when anything was possible. Never forget to lie back and take the time to watch those clouds drift by. You may just remember what life was once like and realize the possibilities. You have so much potential.
